Nice! I was about to suggest to put it as a text post here, then I noticed how long it was! Still, that would probably be preferable to a .rtf format file. I think pdf would be better suited if you don't want to copy it into a post and fix all the formatting for this forum etc. :)

Errr, are you sure about this "Lag compensation" section? Doesn't sound right.
Eg why do you think com_maxfps 250 is better than 125? /snaps is limited by sv_fps so /snaps 20 or /snaps 100 doesn't make any difference. Low /rate can only hurt you not others.

this and why do you write a guide without using google theres tons of explanations how the q3 engine works the lag compensation part is like completely wrong lol and 100 maxpackets wont take longer to send than 30....its simply the amount of data youre sending it can either send 30 at once or 100 at once it doesnt matter its both the same speed

and there are no "strafe" settings maxpackets 100 and snaps 100 (IF the server has sv_Fps 100 if not use snaps 20) simply offer the most smooth and direct gameplay without any bullshit

250 fps will obviously make the game look smoother but it wont unlag you or any other weird thing

To be fair I wrote almost all of it. James added all the lag stuff and some dark side things and yellow sabering. About everything else was me

I had no internet for 6 months so I spent 7 hours of it writing that document. Then i sent it to James and he added a few things. I hope new players read it. That's whom I wrote it for.

This covers (almost) everything you should know about force fighting. Everything else will come to you.

I might give further detail about the videos within these links later on.

EDIT: Now with onscreen keys! I'll add the basics first, so the new guys have a chance to catch up. :slightly_smiling_face:

You should add the updates to the original topic as well, so that the update doesn't get lost in the other replies ;)
