Sometimes we make mistakes in the desired first symbols, or forget to put a slash before the command. For example, I has introduced aminfo without slash or instead bind wrote bnid, and it will all be displayed in the chat. It is unpleasant, is not it?
i think would be a good idea to convert the info introduced without the slash / into a command, because, the console is for commands, not for chats...
so, in relation to what you mentioned with a misspelled command like "bnid" there is no way to fix human errors  ... maybe a good idea is to implement a "command autocompletion", checking enabled commands by every character introduced.
and remember... ure talking about commands, there are serverside client commands, serverside rcon commands, client side commands and cvars

There is a lot of players who actually use the console for chatting, too.
I don't think we should do this. Maybe optional, so users can enable it via a cvar (default-behaviour like on basejk)?
