Are you sure you were using the same settings for jk2mp and jk2mv? After all jk2mv stores the settings in other config files and your name isn't the same on both screenshots.
If you are really using the same setting in both screenshots I suggest setting the gammamethod (r_gammaMethod) to 1. Gammamethod 1 is the old basejk/jk2mp version of gamma. Gammamethod 2 is the new default method of jk2mv, using a gamma shader. The advantage of gammamethod 2 is that is does NOT affect all your screens. Even in windowed mode gammamethod 2 does NOT affect anything outside of your jk2mv window. And lots of graphic drivers on Linux had issues with gammamethod 1, causing the game to appear too dark.
about the configs, i tried everything by default.
about the screenshots, that was my first test, testing separately jk2 games, after that i just deleted all configs in both (jk2 and jk2mv) with no results, and the last test, was using only 1 game (the jk2mv one) with the normal jk2mp inside (obiously was the same game, no different configs).
ANYWAYS is fixed now, was the gammamethod thing. Thanks! some friends has the same problem too!
PD: you should put this in JK2mv menus options (where dynamic glow is)
