Jk2mv saber style won't change

Hello,

I'm having an issue with jk2mv where the lightsaber style will not change. Sometimes I'll join a server and it will be working for a few minutes, and then suddenly it stops switching when I press the key (in my case I have it bound to E) and stays on one style. Then it just stays on that style presumably forever. I've tried /bind e saberattackcycle, reseting the game settings to factory default, restarting the server, restarting jk2mv, and restarting my computer but none seem to work.

I have the game on steam and it does not do this so I'm assuming it's an issue with jk2mv, but it's very possible that I messed it up somehow.

any help would be appreciated thank you.

My OS is windows 10. I'm not quite sure what you mean by jk2mv version but I experience the glitch on 1.02, 1.03, and 1.04.

You play JK2 at only 60 fps? :upside_down_face: Default is 90, and most play with either 125, 142 or 333, so why 60? :upside_down_face:

Jk2's camera behaves sub-optimally at 60 fps. JK2 has frame rate dependent code and certain FPSes will make the math work in/against your favour in different ways. 125 is standard I believe?

Camera behaves differently, not sub-optimially. 125 was standard in q3, in jk2 not so much. Players have their preferences in regards to jump height and all these other fps-dependent things. Using 60 is kinda limiting though, you may get a 120hz monitor in the future.

I'm not actually sure what my fps is at so I assume it's at standard. It runs very smoothly minus the issue I was having with the styles.
