Limitations:
•JK2MF or other anticheat mods can not be supported and never will be
•NT's mod, which uses so called "engine hacks" also can't be supported
•All kind of mods which "hack" themselves into the engine can't be supported


That means that kickscript will be available again?

What does "engine hacking" mean, just modifying the executables and dlls?

As we don't have any kind of anicheat to prevent people form using "scripts" they can use them just like on basejk.

It refers to mods, that rely on memory-addresses of the original jk2mp (or jk2ded).

Jk2mf is discontinued and no anticheat is planned

But everybody who is using jk2mv is able to connect to a server, which is running with jk2mf?

:( No anticheat? Is that btw the only 'haxing' property of jk2mf or do other features as well influence the engine?

as long as anticheat is optional or disabled, yes.
MV also has backwardscompatibility to JK2MF HTTP Downloads.

We still want MF to die.

Ok, but I don't want to kill it with fire. Let us try to add a - verification for 'official jk2mv' version - feature to bromod, that would be OK.
So I can ensure, that the bromod plugin is used (no modified qvms) and your trustfully .exe is used as well.

I made a repository with Daggolin, maybe he can include you as well if you like to watch the process.
