Kamino Map by Lord_Obi_Jack

Post by Lord_Obi_Jack »

Hey, on 2011 i worked on my own Version of Kamino, the reason i couldn`t finish it was an system error but now it works. Here some Pictures of my last Version. I also created some extra rain shaders.

I couldn't see all the screenshots, because they are not loading properly (at least on my phone). We can talk tomorrow and try to resolve the issue. ;)

However those screenshots I saw looked pretty nice and I am looking forward to try the map once it is finished. :D

(I think I played a test version in 2011, been a while)

The way you post the dropbox links don't work, since they point to the 'page', not the actual image. If you right click on the images on that page you are linking to, and select 'Copy image URL' (or the equivalent to that), then you will grab the actual image URL, like this:

A better option, in my opinion, would be to attach the images directly to this post, so they will stay permanently :D
It might also be best to hide some of those in a spoiler since it will take a lot of space in the post ^^

Looking forward to this release though!

EDIT: We gotta look into attachment limits, as I understand this was an issue..!

Woaa! There are some really interesting looking areas, especially on the inside, the wall geometry for example. This reminds me that I really want to map more. Looking forward to try this, it looks great :D

I found and increased the upload limit, you don't have to worry about exceeding the limit now. There was some confusion earlier, but should work now.

I think i will finish this map now :D in past i thought the file was broken. = )
On the last picture you cannot see it but ingame the shader texture looks like water moving down the surface.

That sounds cool. Szico did something like that, water moving down the surface of a cavern wall: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=USoX7SHJZds
