If I'm gonna play as a character, it had damn well better be an animal of some sort. Luke Skywalker is also fine.ouned wrote: you are obsessed with animals aren't you
Yeah, Daggolin could make it a vehicle for those who have the model xDouned wrote::lol: looks nice
spawn it on dark homebase or something
THAT is exactly what I wanted Boothand to ask about, but I didn't want to make a post for that. :mrgreen:Kameleon wrote:Yeah, Daggolin could make it a vehicle for those who have the model xDouned wrote::lol: looks nice

So I guess you attach a player with a sitting animation to the model's back and woosh? Not that JK2 mp supports actual custom vehicles.Daggolin wrote:THAT is exactly what I wanted Boothand to ask about, but I didn't want to make a post for that. :mrgreen:Kameleon wrote: Yeah, Daggolin could make it a vehicle for those who have the model xD
Well, nobody would see Yoshi without a 'clientside' mod at some point, anyway..!Daggolin wrote:Yes, I am afraid so. At least without writing a clientside for that, but then you don't need the serverside vehicles.
That was my intent, and yes! I might post it on this site unless I finally follow the urge to map out Birdflu City/Bootland.Daggolin wrote:Can you make an .md3 model out of it?
You can easily export any glm as md3 with milkshape3d (i can send u via pm if u want)Daggolin wrote:Can you make an .md3 model out of it?
Thanks, but the model is neither a glm, nor a md3 model at the moment. Or well, Boothand didn't say what format it is in at the moment.Tr!Force wrote:You can easily export any glm as md3 with milkshape3d (i can send u via pm if u want)Daggolin wrote:Can you make an .md3 model out of it?
Well, i said that because u can export a md3 from an glm model, is how i converted some models to vehicles (in the time when i used md3 as vehicles), for example, converting kylemodel.glm to kylemodel.md3 easilyBoothand wrote:If Daggo wants an md3 of this, I'd send him (and yes, map objects are always either md3 or ase). In either case, I'd stay away from Milkshape
It has a free trial, but is not a very amazing modeling tool. Blender (with mrwonko's plugins) or Noesis would work for exporting md3s or converting to/from md3/glm etc ^^
But the model is not even a .glm model, yet.Tr!Force wrote:Well, i said that because u can export a md3 from an glm model, is how i converted some models to vehicles (in the time when i used md3 as vehicles), for example, converting kylemodel.glm to kylemodel.md3 easily
