Actually, tho, shooting in 3D will be more likely be in the budget than post-conversion. They use some pretty expensive tools for that stuff. One such tool is called PFDepth, pretty awesome stuff. But one guy apparently asked for a demo or something and didn't even get one. Just for very high-budget projects. The license alone is likely above the 50thousands. And then you still need people to work on that shit. So that part is a bit unrealistic. But cool nonetheless.
