jk2 portable

hanging out playing jk2 on a portable console, something never imagined in 2002 - 2012 :P

Which version is that? Do you have the source code for that version, too?

Why would you play the 1.03 version of singleplayer? As far as I know they only fixed bugs, and didn't really change the gameplay much :)?

Because there is no 1.04 multiplayer I think.

@triforce: I was more interested in who made it and where it is available (and the source). ^^

because 1.03 introduced spanish language, and theres no 1.04 version of single player,

his name is Beloko, and the source isnt public.
he also ported another quake-engine games like jk3, quake, etc... ;)

I assume he is using the GPL version of the source (I only know of Aspyr who got the code under another license a few years ago for their mac port, cause they're selling on the AppStore).

Is the ported version available? Cause if he released the compiled version he also has to release the source version. Or at least give the source to anyone who obtained a copy of the compiled version and asks for the source.

his case is not good, because:

1. he is getting money with the game, few months ago his "port" was removed from google playstore (i think due to legal reasons), and actually is on amazon (is not free, the only way to get the game this is buying).

2. about the source, is not a "open source" ... (I have obtained the source only because i contributed), so thats sad

As he is using GPL code at least all buyers should get the code. And if you get a copy of GPL code you are allowed to share it freely according to the GPL.

But yes, I read yesterday that he got banned from the play store.

May I ask what exactly did you contribute?

Didn't realise he got banned, was wandering why jk2 and jk3 was out of my list :( I paid for em haha How do you contact him?
