Yeah, I tested it a bit. It was good fun, and a very convincing Star Wars experience (minus the lightsaber stuff, but that feels unimportant).

It's basically a reskinned Battlefield, but with stuff like ATATs/ATSTs and jetpack people too. Feels good using guns that don't need reloading.
Visuals and graphics create a very fun experience in itself, because it gives strong immersion and Star Wars vibe.

The drop pod map looked good, but wasn't that good to play on after a while, since it was so open from many angles. In the Hoth map, imperials seemed to win most of the times, and it may have been kind of unbalanced. No real news in terms of gameplay here as far as I could see. Well, you had to find ships out in the field, in forms of small gadgets that you could use - then you would *transform* into a space ship.

Will buy if it becomes cheap, but without modding and clan servers etc, I think I'll quickly grow tired of online playat least - which it emphasizes the most.

if they do the same GTA V did, to let user make mods or different stuff, this will be really nice, nowadays the people likes to mod a game or make their own stuff

Haha well .. Is a begin :p but EA is afraid to let users modding their games, because the hackers... Thats sad,

Well. EA works with Frostbite, maybe something can be possible from their guys.

Hacks is only one part of the reason. The other, and probably bigger reason is that they want to make all those damn DLC's. If the game was modable, then modders could potentially make something for free that they intended to release as a DLC ^^

Would you say the new Battlefront improved at all, comparing to the old Battlefront II? Or are there some things they made better in Battlefront II?
