As of November 7th, 2015 20:00 (8 PM) UTC-8 I will attempt to host a CTF event on ATS JK2 server. This event will be Capture the Flag based, and I hope to see you guys on. Oh and I have a poll with which you can put in a short answer. For my case I'll attend, please post your answer with your vote though (the poll will go on about 2 weeks). Happy gaming.

You don't seem to know what you're doing. But it's jk2 and as long as I can strafe I am happy - so I'll give you a chance and come by~

ATS server has classic 1.04/ja ctf settings. All weapons, items, forces. CTF without guns in 1.04 is unplayable.

I guess I should have specified the map. We do the regular Bespin Shafts, Imperial Base, Nar Shaadaa, etc. Yes it is 1.04, force, saber only unless I discuss the usage of guns, we use DCmod on the server.

If I owned the server I would change it, but I can't. I can give out weapons through admin though but they have 999 ammo so you'd have to be really dedicated. I could try contacting the owner about adding a cfg that places weapons and we could do that. I'd love to see guns in it too, really.

We could set up a server (or multiple ones) for the tournament (and give you rcon) if you want us to. We have enough people around here on jk2.info that host servers (ouned, Kazuka, Daggolin, ...). We also got some (unfinished) mods that are used in 1.02 ctf (locking teams, forcing players into teams, pausing/unpausing the game), but that are also compatible to 1.04 and we could use those (if you want us to).

I never really played ctf :oops: and thats the right time to learn it properly.

Happy to report we WILL have guns. Just got one of the people who has access to the server to put on a cfg with guns.

Thanks for the invite Daggolin, at the moment I'll use the ATS server but I'll keep your server in mind. The mods sound very interesting.

Switched to 15:00 (03:00 PM) PST. Does this work for everyone? Wanted to hopefully include more Europeans and South Americans.

I not sure right now if i can make it in that time because i am a bit confused in the time zone stuff. :oops:

Midnight (0:00 am) in germany. That's probably gonna stop a few people.
But still better than the old time (the old time was UTC-8, ouned's link was for UTC+8).

If that is 00:00 (night) in EST (Norway, Germany etc), that will be kind of late for a lot of people

Thanks Owned for sending this link in here. Now i can give my answer to the question. For me it is also a bit late in time maybe we can switch the time to 20:00 (08:00 PM) CET or we can switch it to a different time. If you have any suggestions to that tell me.

If anyone wants, I can do the original time and the new time on the same day. Sound good to everyone? I can try 20:00 CET also, if I can do it I'll be on the server. (Just wait at least 20 minute before disconnecting).

So far First Harvest event:

1 game (not one map, multiple maps) at 20:00 CET (High Possibility).

1 game at (not one map, multiple maps) 15:00 PST.

1 game at (not one map, multiple maps) 20:00 PST.

It would be great if you could make it in 20:00 CET (8:00 PM).

Let me specify a little more, think of these times as "rounds" in a boxing/wrestling/what ever match. Meaning we'll be doing all three times on this Saturday so you can attend three different times. For example, you could make it to the first game (20:00 CET/11:00 PST/19:00 GMT) and make it to the second (15:00 PST/23:00 GMT) but not the third, or make it to all three, etc. This is so people can choose which time they want, their will be a few hours break in-between each. I of course will be attending all three times, but this is mainly to help remedy the timezone problem. Where Europeans may mostly come at the 20:00 CET time, South Americans might come at the 15:00 PST/23:00 GMT time, and whoever is up late enough the original 20:00 PST/04:00 GMT time. So rather than deciding on a sole time since people from many different regions want to attend, I thought it would be best to incorporate these times.

About 30 minutes until the first time begins.
