And overriding the limit will neither make the SPMaps in question look good, nor can they be played with non-JK2MV users. This does not...

The 1 KB files were related to the server not allowing the download of the file. If you open the pk3 in notepad it is probably showing an HTTP error, telling you that you have no access. I think I made a quick-fix for it back then, but as that fix was quite dirty and involved reloading the ref_ file...

I just moved the message into the connect function and it only shows up when you connect. Not after mapchanges and such. Haven't commited it, yet. Going to do it sometime the next days when I got more time and I can look into some other things as well (if ouned doesn't change the message till then).

May I ask what you mean by "service"? The site in general? The project (jk2mv)? ouned's UC server?
As far as I remember jk2.ouned.de only had a server tracker for UC, no serverlist or similar.

I think we faced this bug before releasing b1, but can't fix it without replacing the ui.qvm.

The screenshot is not loading. After enabling the "botfilter" you currently have to manually trigger sorting again (by clicking on players again). Afterwards it should work properly.

That's a left-over from a removed setting JK2MV had in v1.0b1. The ingame menu was just forgotten in v1.0b2.
