Re: Strange messages in logs

Doesn't developer mode log every time someone press "Get new list", check server info, etc? In that case, do you realize how quickly your log could go from empty to so massive you can't find anything? Should only really be used for debugging and other developer things. If someone is furio...

Re: Strange messages in logs

And is it possible to disable those messages in other way? I was told that by changing that cvar to 0 it will affect some things regarding Quake3 UDP message logs or what it is which can be useful to see if someone is trying to attack server.

Re: Timestamps in logs

fau wrote: 14 Nov 2017, 23:17 This is something that generally should be done by a serverside mod (like sabermod), although technically it's possible to have something like con_timestamps for qconsole.log. There isn't anything like it right now though.
Is that feature planned though?

Timestamps in logs

Hoi hoi, everyone must have experienced some kind of drama in JK2, and I was wondering, has JK2MV some kind of serverside cvar for console which would enable attaching a time stamp to whatever is happening on server? Or if it doesn't have, is it possible to make such cvar? The logs would look like e...

Strange messages in logs

Hoi hoi, I was recently checking our server logs, and they were flooded with insane amount of strange messages: MSG_WriteBits: overflow writing -64778 in 16 bits [field delta_angles[1] offset 0] MSG_WriteBits: overflow writing -129721 in 16 bits [field delta_angles[0] offset 0] MSG_WriteBits: overfl...

We definitely don't have it blacklisted and the map works for those who downloaded it by other means. And the space in filename..? Hm..
Edit: looks like it, ty

Another bug in JK2MV?

Hey pals,

today I tried to exec chicagostreets_jo map on our SoL server but because I didn't have it, I wanted to have JK2MV to auto download it for me, but I got this error and I don't know why. Perhaps you figure it out, ty ^.^

Re: JK2MV 1.3 possible bug

Thanks for reporting Yodah. Daggolin debugged it and wrote a solution, it will be in next (probably 1.3.1) JK2MV release and in development builds linked above. Unfortunately jk2mv 1.3 isn't suitable for dcmod. Most mods and basejk should be fine though. I'll post about this thread on our forums to...

Re: JK2MV 1.3 possible bug

Thought of that it MIGHT be also some bug hidden within Dcmod, but forgot to post it yesterday and I was very tired then. I also remembered to post this: Amslap command is available only for lvl3 admin. I was logging in as lvl2 admin (assuming I got your terminology right) and tried to /amslap a bot...

Re: JK2MV 1.3 possible bug

What number and text? That was all I got (could've answered earlier but I thought I'll get notification of reply into mail..). Now we are back at 1.2.1, the error can't be reproduced. If the command worked with JK2MV 1.2.1 but not with JK2MV 1.3 then I may get feeling it has something to do with 1.3...

JK2MV 1.3 possible bug

Hello peoples, I have a question about JK2MV1.3, recently we on our SoL server encountered weird problems with our adminery, specifically couldn't do amslap and amsleep commands. At least according to Zelah, our higher admin currently. I'm lower admin but amsleep worked for me, interesting enough. H...
